Caroline & Jeremiah’s wedding changed quite a few times from their original plan when they got engaged in early 2020. Their wedding was originally suppose to be held at a venue in rural Colorado but drastically changed size and location because of the pandemic. Since COVID-19 restricted them from having a wedding at a venue, they set out weeks leading up to the wedding to secure their own venue of sorts, in the wilderness.
The location(s) they chose for their portraits, bridal party, ceremony and reception spoke more to who they are as adventurers than their original wedding plan. How amazing is that!
Of course I’m sure they wished they could have had more people at their wedding but there is something special about celebrating with a small group of your closest friends and family.
From their 5am first look to their sparkler/slip and slide exit, it was for sure the longest wedding day I’ve ever had, but it sure was worth it to capture these two and their love.PS – thanks Hannah Henke for being the most supportive second shooter a girl could ask for, and for getting some great shots!
